Kettlebells

Paul Daniels is certified by Master Trainer Pavel Tsatsouline to teach Russian Kettlebell classes.

The Russians Are Here!

Many of you have been asking when are Kettlebell workout classes going to be available. So consider yourself officially notified…

If you’re still unsure or undecided about kettlebells, you definitely are not alone. Lots of people just like you have completed the Fighting Fit Kettlebell Camp, Here is what a one of them of them had to say.

“While out for a walk on the beach with my husband and dog, I was complimented with the comment “who is your personal trainer – you are in such great shape” Not bad for almost 60.

-Sophia Suda

But right now, I want to tell you why the Kettlebell Workout Class is 100% guaranteed to change the way you look, change the way you feel, and change the way you live.

From the 1st meeting, you’ll know that Workout Class is dramatically different, and infinitely better than any other training program out there. You’ll start by mastering your Primary Movement Patterns – and that alone will change your body forever. It will astound you. I’m not exaggerating.

First, and most importantly, we’ll cover the crucial difference between simply working your abs and really training your core. The two terms are not interchangeable. Most of what gets called “core” training these days is really just ab work with a fancy new name. It’s good, but it can be much, much better. A strong core means a safe back, and mastering these two pre-requisites means you’re ready to pick up your kettlebell (I’ll bring lots of them, so don’t worry if you don’t have one).

Here is what you will learn

The kettlebell swing:
works your core, back, legs, arms, heart, and lungs all at once. It also gets your heart and lungs a-cranking, and that means the fat-burning has begun. You see, the Kettlebell Swing shows you how to use your body correctly to get the most out of yourself. It feels natural and powerful, and you’ll be changed forever once you bring it into your life. I’m not kidding. I know it sounds like I’m piling on the hype, but everything I’m saying is true. You’ll get your money back if you don’t agree.

Turkish Get-up:
This little-known gem will integrate your shoulders, torso, and core in a way you’ve never experienced before.

Kettlebell Clean:
Build a strong muscular back while learn the power of the clean and a rock solid rack position.

Kettlebell Press: how to take advantage of the Russian Shoulder Stability Protocol and get rid of that annoying shoulder pain once and for all.

Windmill:
a phenomenal move the will hit your obliques (“side abs”) more completely and dynamically then anything you have done previously…and last but not least, another great workout to send you home looking better and feeling great.

What is the right kettlebell size for me? An average man should start with a 35-pounder. It does not sound like a lot but believe it; it feels a lot heavier than it should! Most men will eventually progress to a 53-pounder, the standard issue size in the Russian military. 72-pounders are used only by a few advanced people and in elite competitions. 88-pounders are for mutants.
An average woman should start with an 18-pounder. A strong woman can go for a 26-pounder. Some women will advance to a 35-pounder. A few tough women will go beyond.

I have been working out with Kb's for a while now and wanted to take Paul's class to make sure I was doing the moves correctly. I found that I wasn't. He was able to break down the Turkish get up in a way I have not seen. Now I am doing them much better. Trying to perfect them each time. I didn't think I was capable of a goblet squat and was sure he wouldn't be able to help me do them. I am so excited! I am working on this move and have never been able to put my knees through a full range of motion "pain free". Can't wait for his next workshop!

In January 2010, my company embarked on a huge mission:  to change the culture of the organization regarding food and nutrition.  Long story short, I signed up for our Biggest Loser competition, lasting 14 weeks.  It was easy to lose the first 5 pounds by cutting out dessert and eating a little better.  Then I started walking a few days a week and eventually was running stairs when I could.  As a single mom with two school-aged kids, finding time to exercise was impossible.  Around week 7 or 8, I started to plateau and was only losing a few ounces a week.  This was the same time that I met Paul.  He offered to train me on Kettlebells while my daughter was taking gymnastics lessons.  PERFECT.  The changes it made to my body were immediate and noticeable.  I gained strength, toned my arms, flattened my stomach, and after 14 weeks, won 2nd place in the competition.  Its now 3 months laterIm still taking Kettlebell and kickboxing with Paul, Ive run three 5K races in 30 minutes, and started training for a half marathon.  With Pauls help over the next 5 months, I know Ill cross the finish line at the half marathon.  Kettlebells take up no space in your house and you can do them in front of your TV, getting a full cardio and muscle-building workout in 40 minutes.  Thanks Paul for all your help.  Im 44 and have a new outlook on fitness and my health, for life.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT PAUL

When it comes to kettlebell instruction, Paul Daniels, RKC Team Leader, walks softly and carries a big stick.  If you are serious about kettlebells, he is your man.     -Pavel Tsatsouline, RKC Chief Instructor(forfather of the US Kettlebell movement)

I just completed the April 2009 RKC Instructor Certification program where Paul was our Team Leader. I have a very strong desire to do things well and thanks to Paul's attention to detail and knowledge of kettlebell training I saw great improvement by the end of the program. He knows what you need, when you need it and how to motivate different types of people. Thanks Paul!

Joe Wright - Hudson, Wisconsin

"It is rare to see a trainer that knows how to set his clients at ease without wasting time. Paul is a tough trainer that knows how to get the best out of his clients. In addition, he knows how to laugh with his clients and ensures that they have a great time. This is a very rare combination. Most trainers either have drill Sargent personalities or they are looking at the clock while their clients workout. Paul is completely focused on maximizing time with his clients.

I have had the pleasure of working with Paul at several of my kettlebell workshops and he always does an outstanding job. Without fail, I always get emails form my workshop attendees stating how much of a difference Paul being there made. I highly recommend Paul's kettlebell workshops and services. There is no way that you will be disappointed." Mike Mahler, author of "The Kettlebell Solution For Size And Strength" and "Kettlebell Solutions For Speed And Explosive Strength

“I started taking Paul's kickboxing classes about 10years ago.  I took a 5 year hiatis (don't ask me why) and started back up about 3 years ago and the results have been mind blowing.    First & foremost, I have gone from a size 6 to a size 2 but more importantly is the muscle definition that has occurred. I started working with Paul on theKettlebell about 2years ago and along with a change in my eating habits (very little carbs) have made adrastic change in my body and mind.   In addition, one of the biggest and very surprising changed has been in my golf swing.  I am an avid golfer and about a year ago I had my swing speed tested for new clubs.  I recently went in to purchase a new driver, told the salesman that I test at an 80 swing speed so he put me on the calibration machine & to my surprise my swing speed has increased to 95!  I was absolutely amazed. Because of Paul's workouts and the Kettlebell, I have many Women's Longest Drive

trophies in my office. Kettlebells have become a big part of my life.  It has changed the way I feel & look.  I am amazed how many comments I get from even strangers asking me what I do to stay in shape.  I love to tell Paul”

Thank you Paul for inspiring me to look & feel my best.  And more importantly for improving my golf game.   Sue White

I took Paul's Beginner's Kettlebell workshop. He really knows his stuff! He was able to break down swings, cleans and presses into managable, non-intimidating sections to where even a KB newbie like me felt like I could create a good, solid kb workout from what I had learned.
I'm much more comfortable with kb's now...thanks Paul!

  Patti - Fullerton Ca

I have been taking Paul's Kickboxing class on and off for months and most recently I attended his begginers Kettlebell Workshop. I was looking forward to the Kettlebell Workshop because I knew Paul to be a great instructor so I thought the workshop would be worth the investment. Needless to say, Paul's Kettlebell workshop was much, much better than even I had anticipated. Although I thought I might be a little intimidated by the Kettlebells, Paul immediately put us at ease with his ability to break down all the exercises into easy to understand segments. Paul's ability to motivate and inspire really shone through. I would highly recommend any class that Paul is involved in. I feel very fortunate to have him as an instructor.
Brenda - Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

Paul is a outstanding kettlebell instructor. He is a great motivator, and makes training fun. He understands the science of exercise, and after 6 months of training with him I am stronger than I have ever been with the best endurance I have ever had. I was so impressed by Paul's workout that my wife is doing the kettlebell, and she is in the best shape of her life. If you compete in sports Paul will make you better, if you are out of shape Paul will get you to where you want to be, but faster than anyone else. Paul is the real deal.
Scott Cordin - Laguna Niguel, CA USA

Aside from his attention to detail and high quality of instruction, I found Paul to be an extremely fascinating individual. His modest stature is dramatically contrasted by his explosive power, both with the kettlebells and martial arts demonstration. The depth of his knowledge is another example of how this simple tool is not only a mindless "good hard" exercise regiment, but rather a sophisticated highly scientific method once a strong fundamental technique is attained. Thank you Paul.
