I could give you many reasons why I started training with Paul:Being overweight, high blood pressure, stress at work, not feeling good, not feeling happy, aching knee, neck and shoulders, uncomfortable sleeping pattern were among the reasons. I had to lower my blood pressure and wanted my body to be pain free again. I had to do something but I did not know what and how. I shared this information with my wife and one day she encouraged me to join Paul at Body Warehouse in Rancho Santa Margarita.
About 4 weeks ago I signed up with Paul; I started watching what I eat/drink. I cut back on alcohol consumption and stopped eating rice, fries and sweets completely. Sometimes I eat bread in moderation (having a Sandwich) and sometimes I skip a meal (dinner), but overall I am not on a hard core diet.
I want to say I went on a diet but I really don’t like to use word diet since it sounds like taboo and difficult to many of us. Well how about changing the way I was eating and added exercise to my daily routine.I have lost about 16 pounds, my blood pressure is back to normal, I feel great and I can take stress at work a lot easier. All the pains have disappeared and I sleep a lot better.
This is just the beginning of my journey I know I have a long way to go. I have to stick to this routine as it is going to be the new way of life for me. I want to be around for my wife, kids, family and friends. I want to be productive, healthy and give back to community. I want to have a good quality of life and at the same time enjoy it and have fun with it.

When I first started working out with Paul, I thought his Cardio Kickin Class would jazz up my routine. It did just that and more! I just love this class!! I was only running and not seeing any change. I started with two days and eventually went to four days a week, quitting running altogether. Over several months I started to see huge changes in my body, with that I made the commitment to get into a bikini by the next summer. I'm 43, so sharing this goal with Paul was huge; I even showed him a photo. This made me accountable for my goal. About five months into my routine I added his Fighting Fit Boot Camp twice a week to my regiment. It was the best thing I could have done. He keeps his camp fast paced and innovative, his changing things up keep it highly challenging and rewarding. The added use of the Kettlebell training has given me strength all over. Almost a year later, I've lost a dress size and I know I'm in the best shape that I've ever been in thanks to Paul's support and motivation! I know I will meet my summer "bikini" goal because of him. Paul is truly a knowledgeable and passionate trainer/instructor; you can see how genuinely he cares for each of his clients! Thank you Paul!!

According to this article, most studies show that the average person gains 1-2 pounds during the period between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. Recent research supported this data, but in addition stated that 10% of the people did gain 5 or more pounds. Needless to say, such weight gain in a short period of time is very unhealthy and can also be difficult to burn off later.
Even though 1-2 pounds doesn't seem to be all that much, it's these small increases that tend to accumulate into something we later struggle to burn off, not to mention that 10% of 5 pounds plus-gainers.
