I really feel that the Fighting Fit Boot Camp is a great way to get in shape; it is a completely different type of work out then I have ever participated in (the use of kettle bells), but I see results with my amount of strength, muscle definition of my body and on the scale. Paul keeps things moving and always changing the routine so we never get bored of the workout. A friend of my family has been taking part in the boot camp for some time and after seeing her body change and hearing her talk about it, I felt that I could give it a try. She didn’t mince words when she said it was going to be difficult, but it has been well worth the pain so far and I look forward to returning to the next session of camp!!! - Misty Elsasser
Prior to doing this camp, I worked out with a trainer twice a week. There really is not a comparison. The Kettlebell Camp is definitely more intense. I also enjoy this training because the activities change every session. It doesn’t feel like the same old thing as when going to the gym. I truly enjoy the variety and intensity of the workout now. I was basically badgered into coming to this Kettlebell thing by my daughter and a good friend. I have to say, I did not appreciate them much after the first day. In fact "did not appreciate" does not begin to describe my feelings. Now after four weeks though, I can say that I am very happy they convinced me to join. This camp does not compare to the gym workouts I have had in the past. I now feel stronger, I have improved my endurance, and I feel like I am accomplishing my main goals (weight Loss, cardio and strength training). I think I have always been healthy. With that said, the older I get the harder it has become to lose weight (and I needed to lose weight). Since I started this training, I have become a lot more motivated about getting back in shape and have taken the time to look closely at my nutritional needs. The training and diet seem to be working, so far I have lost twelve pounds. Thanks Paul for the motivation. - Jay Houck
“While out for a walk on the beach with my husband and dog, I was complimented with the comment “who is your personal trainer – you are in such great shape” Not bad for almost 60. -Sophia Suda |

"Paul encourages you to push yourself to the limit and just a little beyond. This is not a "one size fits" camp. Emphasis is placed on correct form and Paul teaches you to strengthen your areas of weakness (like old injuries) We have accomplished more in 5 weeks of camp than the last year in the gym. I would say " If you want to work hard, get great results and have great fun, this is the camp for you" I am looking forward to the summer when my son can enjoy camp too. - Diana & Jerry (Jerry is a 23 yr veteran of the Police Force) back to top
I have never been one to join a gym. Because of the hands on and the type of workout, I feel I want to make the effort to go to the outside for my exercise regimen. As far as my health, I have always been health conscious because of my genetics (mom died 37, dad 48) I had to do more than most. Even though I am considered thin, my blood pressure on medication was bordering on the high side. Since taking up Boot Camp and kick-boxing by blood pressure has dropped significantly. My doctor has been amazed; his comment “Keep doing whatever your are doing.”
